Installer Trainings

In-House Training Process

Contractors are welcome to come to Omega and receive on-site classroom training with our experienced technical team. This classroom training will include a page-by-page overview of Omega's installation manual. Contractors will review all aspects of pre-order procedures to identify all necessary information from the host pipe to accurately order your UV liner for your project.

Contractors will also review Omega's installation protocols, which list out host pipe preparation, cleaning/inspection, and required and recommended installation materials and tools. They then will move onto the step-by-step process of Omega UV Liner installation, insertion/removal of the UV light train, speed/temperature calibration during the curing process to end cutting, and removal of inner foil after the liner has been fully cured.

Other items, such as pulling methods, handling/disposal, and lateral reinstatements, will be reviewed within the installation manual. Once the classroom training of the manual has been completed, contractors then be trained on proper safety sleeve, light train, and can installation/removals as well as calibration techniques during the curing process.

On-Site Training

Omega also offers on-site training to new and existing contractors, whether a contractor is on their first UV liner project or to refresh an existing crew. Omega will come on-site to help assist and train to ensure crews efficiently and safely install an Omega UV liner. Training can take place for both laborers/groundsmen and the UV operators.
